What is Estimate?

The Estimate app is a powerful tool for creating, managing, and sharing professional invoices on the go. Designed for freelancers, contractors, and small business owners, Estimate streamlines the entire process of generating quotes for customers and converting them to invoices once work is completed. The app offers customizable templates, allowing you to add your logo, adjust styles, and include discounts or taxes as needed. With Estimate, you can create invoices, track their statuses, and easily export & share them as PDFs. It’s an all-in-one solution to keep your business transactions organized, professional, and efficient.

How do I create a new invoice?

To create a new invoice:

Navigate to the “Invoices” page within the app, and tap on the “+” button in the bottom right corner.

Add all the details necessary for the invoice, and then press the “save” button to save the invoice.

On the “Invoices” page select the newly created invoice.

Edit the new invoice if necessary using the “Edit” button.

To share the invoice press the “Preview” button and then on the “Preview Invoice” page click on the “Share” button.

Can I apply discounts to individual items?

Yes, Estimate allows for discounts on individual items or the whole invoice.

How can I track the status of my invoices?

You can keep track of all invoice statuses within the app. Update the status manually as needed.

Go to the “Invoices” page.

Each invoice will show its current status: Unpaid, Overdue, Partially Paid, or Paid.

Can I export my invoices as PDF files?

Absolutely! To export an invoice as PDF:

Navigate to the “Invoices” page and select the invoice you’d like to share.

Then click on the “Preview” button, and customize the invoice to you’re preferences.

Finally click on the “Share” button to share the invoice as PDF.

How do I back up my data or transfer it to a new device?

For data backup:

To transfer to a new device, install the app on the new device and restore from your latest backup file.

Go to Settings and select Backup & Restore.

Create a “.zip” backup, and then on the new device import the same backup using the “Restore” option.
