Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the Glycemic Index (GI) and Glycemic Load (GL)?
  • Glycemic Index (GI) is a ranking of carbohydrates in foods based on how they affect blood sugar levels. Foods are scored on a scale of 0 to 100.
  • Glycemic Load (GL) considers both the GI and the portion size of a food, giving a more complete picture of its impact on blood sugar levels.

The app provides detailed GI and GL values to help you make informed dietary decisions.
